The Spring 2025 Ten Toes + Transit session will kick-off on April 2 and will run for 12 weeks. Walkers must register to participate in each Spring and Fall Session.

Wednesday, April 2 – Guided Tour of the Contemporary Art Museum St. Louis
The Contemporary Art Museum St. Louis has long been known for its commitment to showcasing the most relevant and innovative art being made today.
Join us on April 2 for the Ten Toes + Transit kickoff walk which will include a docent-led tour of the Contemporary Art Museum. Some of the artwork on display will include ceramics, paintings, textiles, and sculptures by artists such as Saj Issa, Basil Kincaid, and Shinichi Sawada. This excursion will peel back the curtain on the process and product of art in the 21st Century.
Following the tour, participants will have the opportunity to catch up over coffee or a snack at the CAM’s onsite cafe before CMT staff will lead the group back via transit.

Thursday, April 24 – Guided Tour of Terminal 1 Artwork in St. Louis Lambert International
Ten Toes + Transit is excited to offer this special walk which will include a walking tour of the artwork featured in Terminal 1 of the St. Louis Lambert International Airport. Our guide will be Rhonda Hamm-Niebruegge, Airport Director.
This walk is for you if you are interested in aviation or artwork!
Please meet CMT staff near the ticket vending machines on April 24 at 9:00 AM. We’ll board the east bound Blue Line MetroLink at 9:28 for our ride to the airport. At Forest Park, we will transfer to the Red Line MetroLink. At the airport, we’ll meet our guide for our tour before returning the way we came.
You must be a Spring 2025 Ten Toes + Transit registrant to participate in this walk. There is no fee associated with this walk and the walk is capped at 30 participants.

AARP Walk with a Doc – Second Saturday of the Month
Explore Forest Park, get some exercise, and learn more about a current health topic with AARP St. Louis’ Walk with a Doc program.
AARP volunteers will lead you on a journey that will start with a ride on MetroLink from either the North Hanley or Shrewsbury MetroLink Stations, arriving at the Forest Park-DeBaliviere Station in time for a short walk to the Forest Park Visitor and Education Center. From there you’ll take a few minutes to learn about a current health topic from a healthcare professional before spending the rest of the hour enjoying a healthy walk and fun conversation.
Please note: Due to a special event, the February 2025 Walk With a Doc group will meet at the Steinberg Rink.
